Spring Staple Pieces

I’m sure you’ve all noticed that I’m very eager to share spring looks! These midwest winters are so long and cold and dreary! We just got back from a week in Florida and everytime we go, I want to stay! The sun is always shining and the trees are so beautiful and it truly lifts my mood just being there. Then we come back home to Iowa’s gray skies and brown trees and rain and cold and wind. Ahhhh so ready for warm weather! Can’t wait to get out of the house and play some golf! My favorite summer pastime. I’m honestly no good at all, but I really enjoy playing!

Anyways, today I’m sharing some of the favorite spring staple pieces of the season. To me, staple pieces are pieces I choose to invest in that can be worn/used everyday with any outfit. So those pieces include shoes, bags, jewelry, sunglasses, jeans/shorts. I invest in a few of my favorites and get my monies worth by wearing them repeatedly! I only have a few pairs of jeans that I love and I’m extremely picky when buying them! These are a bit of an investment, but there is nothing like the quality of a good pair of jeans. I’ve already worn these so many times and just love them for spring. They are a bit oversized with a cropped leg and some distressing. Agolde is my go-to brand for denim. Next, can we talk about these heels?! I’ve had them for almost 3 years now. They are a neutral shoe that will go with anything and a classic that you will be able to wear for years to come. 

On to a few of my favorite accessories! I’ve purchased a couple bags for spring, including this one and this one. I’ve already gotten so much use out of them and they make any outfit a little more exciting! These sunglasses are super affordable and my favorite new pair for spring!
